STUDENT NURSE
During her nursing studies Lucy, our founder, cared for many children struggling with mental health challenges. Often from disadvantaged backgrounds, these children experienced loneliness and little access to nature.
HEALING WAVES
For Lucy, the ocean connects her with like-minded souls and provides a place to recharge and find balance while caring for others. Recognising how the ocean nurtures her own wellbeing, she wanted to share its healing powers with those who need it most: children in hospital.
SCRUBS TO SCHOLAR
In 2023, Lucy was honoured to be selected as the Our World Underwater European Scholar. This incredible opportunity allowed her to collaborate with medical professionals, filmmakers and global underwater experts to explore remote dive expeditions and how to help the younger generation reconnect with nature.

BLUE BUBBLE IMMERSIVE: OCEANS FOR ALL
Lucy’s nursing and scholarship experiences sparked an idea - Blue Bubble Immersive was born!

Through immersive technology, like VR, I hope to convey this same sense of wonder and awe. I hope to help hospitalised children experience the sea.
